What is Not Allowed?

  • No Fireworks, Amplified sound systems, Noisemakers (Or Items We Determine May Be Disruptive)

  • No Unlicensed Vending of Any Kind

  • No Disorderly conduct

  • No Littering

  • No unauthorized distribution of pamphlets, flyers, or handbills 

  • No Harassment, No Hate, No Bad Vibes

  • No Doubt, No Diggity, & No Scrubs

 

Please be aware that all bags, backpacks, etc. will be subject to search upon entry into the festival. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be held for later pickup.

  • Water bottles are allowed. Refillable water bottles are encouraged. Water refill stations are located inside the festival. (No alcohol)

What can I expect at the C-Pride Festival?

  • The festival is an indoor-outdoor event!

  • Indoors you will find The True Colors Stage, showcasing a fabulous lineup of drag artists representing diverse forms of drag entertainment! We also have a curated gallery showcasing Clarksville LGBTQIA+ history by our talented Youth group, a 360 photobooth for epic snaps, an array of local vendors, health services, and nonprofits organizations. Don't miss our captivating guest speakers. Among them are political powerhouse Charles Uffelman, the trailblazing Olivia Hill—Tennessee's first transgender woman elected to the metro council, Karen Renolds currently running for Tennessee's state senate seat, and none other than Mayor Joe Pitts, who'll be presenting C-Pride with a proclamation officially declaring the 29th as Pride Day in Clarksville, TN.

  • Outdoors you'll find local food trucks, vendors offering unique finds, and talented local musicians and bands will set the stage for an unforgettable experience! Feel free to bring blankets, sunscreen, and reusable water bottles.

Should I bring Cash?

  • C-Pride and many of the vendors are able to take both cash and card. However, we encourage you to bring cash for easy check out and tipping our performers. 

Fit Check

  • We love seeing amazing outfits, it's part of what makes Pride fun. However, we kindly ask that all attendees maintain family-friendly attire and adhere to the regulations of Montgomery County and the City of Clarksville.

Is the festival accessible for individuals in the disabled community?

  • The venue meets ADA accessibility standards.

  • Mobility Aids and Service Dogs are Allowed

  • We have positioned tables at both stages to facilitate comfortable viewing for members of the disability community with mobility challenges. There are no specific requirements for accessing this accommodation; however, we kindly request that festival guests self-regulate their use so that this accommodation is available for those who need it. 

Is the festival safe?

  • Law enforcements presence from the Clarksville Police Department is mandated at the venue.

  • All patron bags and checked at the festival entrances

  • Uniformed security presence throughout the festival and parade

  • No guns or weapons of any kind are allowed

  • We kindly request that festival guests refrain from engaging with any protestors outside our event and instead allow our security team and the Montgomery County Police to manage any arising situations."

  • A number of other measures are in place but are kept confidential to ensure the integrity of those protocols.

  • ​REMEMBER: You’re the eyes and ears of the festival. If you see something suspicious, say something.

Bag Policy

  • Totally clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." Bags should not have buckles, grommets/hardware or décor that conceals any part of the bag's contents.

  • Small clutch bags, which cannot exceed 4.5" x 6.5" in size, with or without a handle, do not have to be transparent.

  • Fanny packs/crossbody bags, which cannot exceed 12" x 6" x 4.", do not have to be transparent.

  • Accommodations will be made for medical and childcare needs.

Ticket Policy

  • Tickets are non-refundable, no exceptions. 

  • C-Pride reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the C-Pride festival, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require. Code of Conduct

  • The C-Pride Festival is a welcoming place to come together with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the progress of the Clarksville LGBTQ+ community. Our code of conduct is designed to ensure the festival is a safe and accepting spaces for everyone and that everyone is treated with courtesy and respect.

  • The C-Pride Festival is a celebration recognizing the past struggles and future possibilities of the LGBTQ+ community. All participants in the festival are expected to embrace and respect this.

  • The C-Pride Festival is a safe space and will not tolerate any threatening, violent, harassing, or offensive behavior against its volunteers, staff, artists, performers, festival goers, parade participants, security personnel or members of the public.

  • The C-Pride Festival celebrates diversity and will not tolerate any individual making derogatory remarks about a person's age, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, size, wardrobe, physical ability, economic status, and/or religion.
